Third Floor Unit Description
Located in the Aspen building at Streamside at Vail, Colorado. It has approx. 1183 square feet of floor space. A high cathedral ceiling gives the villa a very spacious feeling. It will comfortably accommodate ten occupants. The new exterior refurbishment was completed in the spring of 2009 producing this appearance upon approaching from the West.
The entrance opens into a living room containing two sofas arranged in an L shape, one of which opens into a queen size bed. There are cocktail, end tables and reading lamps. The living room contains a gas-log fireplace, flat screen television with HBO and Encore and DVD player. The living room as viewed from the loft looks like this.
Wireless Internet is available in Aspen at no charge. Local and 800 calls are free. Phones are equipped with a voice mailbox to receive messages in your absence.
The living room occupants are provided with their own private bath with shower plus a two 4 ft. closets for hanging clothes and a 2 ft. closet with shelves.
At the rear of the living room is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full size refrigerator, sink, 4-burner stove, microwave oven, toaster, blender, coffee maker and china and silver for 10.
Separating the kitchen from the living room is a counter with three seats. Opposite the counter is a dining area and the spiral staircase which leads to the loft bedroom and sitting area.
Behind the living room is a bedroom containing one queen bed and a sofa which opens into a queen size bed. This bedroom has its own private bath with a tub-shower.
The bedroom is provided with a five-foot closet with shelves and hanging area, a dresser, two end tables (one with a drawer), a television, telephone and three reading lamps. The bedroom also has a sliding door opening onto an outside balcony with a table and three chairs.
At the top of the spiral staircase is a very large loft area containing two queen size beds, two upholstered chairs, five side tables, 4 with a single drawer, a 4 drawer bureau, 5 reading lamps, a TV and telephone.
The loft has its own private bath with tub-shower. There is a 5 foot closet for hanging clothes and a 2 foot closet with shelves. It too has a sliding door opening onto an outside balcony.
In front of the building is a whirlpool spa for use by Aspen occupants. Here is a summer view of the spa and Aspen building.
Included with ownership of this unit is access to an on-site recreation facility with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, exercise room, racquetball court, indoor and outdoor whirlpool spas, steam room, sauna, and a club room showing nightly movies.
Of particular importance is a shuttle bus which provides complementary service between the Aspen building and Vail Village and skilifts.
Guests are provided with a complimentary mid-week towel replacement and trash removal. Laundry facilities are available in a nearby building.
